The patented technology integrated in to the CRYONOMIC blasting machines provide unequaled performances with limited air consumption. This technology has the advantage of reducing wear out and maintenance. Thanks to the unique self-regulating airlock system, a constant and regular dry ice flow are guaranteed. No oil is required and only one sealer disc is needed in the blaster which results in cost savings.
Also known as cryogenic cleaning, dry ice blasting or cleaning is a technique that uses dry ice pellets for cleaning without water, cleaning without chemicals, or replacing the manual cleaning job. The very low temperature of the pellets (-78°C or -109°F) causes the contamination to freeze and contract resulting in the easy detachment of the contaminant from the substrate. On impact, the pellets vaporize to carbon dioxide gas and an increase in volume by a factor of 700. Due to this expansion, the contaminant is lifted and separated from the base material. The pellets vaporize to carbon dioxide gas on impact, which means that only the original contaminant is left for disposal. This natural evaporation is a major advantage of this cleaning method.
The choice of the most suitable dry ice blaster should be based on a short analysis of the desired application of the unit. We distinguish 3 types of applications:
CRYONOMIC dry ice blasting machines are used in many different industries for a lot of cleaning applications such as maintenance cleaning, renovation, restoration, surface preparation, machine cleaning, etc. If you are curious about dry ice cleaning application in your industry, contact us for demonstration!
